Altamont.

Most people date rock culture from Woodstock in 1969.

The festival of peace and love.

But they are forgetting Altamont.

The Altamont Free Concert was held shortly after Woodstock and the Hell's Angels were contracted to provide security.

During the Rolling Stones performance a man was murdered by the Hell's Angels.

There were several other accidental deaths and violence caused many injuries.

This was a nightmare festival - the flip-side of Woodstock.

And this was no coincidence.

The flip-side of peace and love was Satanism and evil.

A secret conspiracy hidden in the music.

So whenever you remember the dream of Woodstock you should also remember the nightmare of Altamont.

Our Generation.

There is nothing left of the idealism of the 1960s.

Our generation has been rejected, condemned, and reconstructed.

All that is left is holidays, tickets, food, sports, must see T.V., and a bucket list.

We have been distracted and exploited.

Our rock legends have betrayed us.

And our politicians have abandoned us.

What is needed is a return to the idealism with which we set out.

We can still change the world if we put aside our pleasures and return to the philosophy of peace and love.

Revelations.

Jesus' revelation was a breakthrough in humankind's understanding of God.

Before Jesus God was seen as a strict arbiter and judge, a dispenser of natural justice who rewarded the righteous and punished the wicked.

After Jesus God was a loving Father, a God willing to forgive and forget, a God who loved even His own enemies.

With Jesus came the realization that God was not going to punish us but restore us to our true selves and relationship with Him.

Now we are beginning to see that God is beyond our human understanding, beyond our ideas of dualism, beyond our human judgments.....

God is transcendent, sublime, beautiful.

But God is not an impersonal force or energy.

God is profoundly personal.

And contact with Him enhances our humanity.

God makes us more human.

God touches our hearts.

God teaches us to love.

This is the essence of spirituality.
Not perfect principles of morality.
But a humble heart that understands our human weaknesses and mistakes.

Love forgives, love builds up, love returns, love stays, love cares, love delights, love weeps.....

So we are not meant to be perfect practitioners of righteousness.
We are meant to be humble, gentle, loving children of God, men and women ready to love and to help those around us.

Let it be so.

Homosexual History.

One thing that I found helpful when developing a positive attitude to my homosexuality was to look at history.

There have been many homosexuals who have achieved great things throughout history.

King David, the celebrated hero of the ancient Hebrews, was bisexual.
His love affair with Jonathan is documented in the Bible.

Ancient Greece was known for its enlightenment and culture.
Homosexuality was not only accepted in ancient Greece it was celebrated.

Perhaps the ancient world's greatest philosopher Socrates was homosexual.

Many Greek heroes had same-sex lovers: Hercules and Iolas, Achilles and Patroclus, Theseus and Peirithous, Orestes and Pylades.....

Even the Greek gods had same-sex lovers: Zues and Ganymede, Apollo and Hyacinthus etc..

And the great poetess of Lesbos, Sappho, for whom lesbianism is named, had female lovers.

Richard the Lionheart the much loved king of England was said to be gay.

Both Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci were gay.
Shakespeare was suspected of bisexual love.
Their works during the Renaissance are legendary.

More recently Oscar Wilde, E.M. Forster, Andre Gide, T. E. Lawrence (of Arabia), Virginia Wolfe, Quentin Crisp, and Christopher Isherwood were among those who defied society's disdain.

D.H Lawrence wrote beautifully about same-sex love.

Artists Jean Cocteau and Jean Genet were openly homosexual.

Japan's writer Yukio Mishima was fascinated by homosexual desire.

Actors Rock Hudson, James Dean, Cary Grant, and Montgomery Clift hid their homosexual orientation.  And playwrite Tennesee Williams wrote about same-sex passions.

The great actor Sir John Gielgud was secretly gay.

Contemporaries David Bowie, Marc Bolan, Elton John, Boy George, George Michael, and others have been more open about their homosexuality.

The great contemporary actor Sir Ian McKellen is also openly gay.

Many of these great people struggled with their homosexual feelings and still achieved great things.

So homosexuality is not a bar to achievement in a our world.

You can be homosexual and still achieve greatness.

Pity.

I pity young gay people.

They are told by the Church that God hates them.

They are told by their peers that they are lame and tacky.

They are told by their rock stars that they are wicked, filthy, monsters.

They are told by the government that they are second-class citizens.

To those who have internalized this homophobia I say:

You are good.

Your homosexuality is good.

God loves you as you are.

You will go to Heaven when you die.

You are fabulous every one of you.

Eating It.

In the 1980s I saw a rock video which showed a man tied to a chair with his eyes wired open watching a T.V. screen and a man standing over him feeding him savories with spiders and insects on them.

I did not know at the time how true this was.

It is, of course, a joke.

And the joke's on us.

We are a captive audience to rock stars who feed us poisonous evil.

And it is still happening.

You're eating it.

Rainbow Lorikeet.

Is the Rainbow Lorikeet a Bird of Paradise?

The colorful Australasian parrot can be found in the rain-forests of Papua New Guinea where the Birds of Paradise make their nests.

He gets his name from the multi-colored feathers which stripe his body.

From the sheer brilliance of his rainbow colors he qualifies as a Bird of Paradise.

Not Gone Yet.

The passing of the astrological sign of Scorpio may see the waning of the Satanic influence in our popular culture.  But it is not gone yet.

The predominance of those born with Pluto in Scorpio (its home sign) will see Satanic influences continuing to curse us for some time yet.

Rock musicians, male and female, born in the early 90s have this planetary placement and they may be the worst yet.

But the extent of Satanism has peaked and we will see a decline from now on.

In the meantime it is best to avoid all dark, violent, bloody, sadistic, negative, suicidal, lustful, murderous, and evil influences in music and entertainment.

But the writing is on the wall.

A New Thing.

God is doing a new thing.

Do you not perceive it?

There is a new way of interpreting scripture.

There is a new way of seeing God.

There is a new way of thinking.

There is a new way of living.

Old negative doctrines are being replaced by new positive doctrines.

The old harsh image of God is being replaced by a new benevolent image of God.

The old materialist way of thinking is being replaced by a new altruistic way of thinking.

The old mechanical way of living is being replaced by a new human way of living.

Do you  not perceive it?

Change.

There will not be a religious revival until the Churches change.

Change what they are thinking.
Change what they are teaching.

As long as the theology of sin and atonement dominates the Churches there will be no progress.

It is no use dressing it up in new clothes.
It is no use burying your head in the sand.
It is no use blaming someone else.

The Churches must admit that they have failed.

What is needed is change.

The old negative doctrines must be replaced.
New positive doctrines must replace them.

An orientation to the needs of the community must replace institutional navel-gazing.

God is doing something new.

Do you not perceive it?

Kick-Start.

Many people experience the love of God only to feel Him withdraw from them.

Jack Spong describes this as a game of hide and seek.

The Bible says to seek God's face. (2 Chronicles 7:14 & Psalm 27:8)

Many people find this baffling.

But there is a reason why this happens.

And that is to kick-start your heart.

God wants us to use our own hearts.
Not just rely on Him all the time.

If we open our hearts and give love to those around us we will find that God is with us.

"everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.  Whoever does not love does not know God; for God is love."  1 John 4: 7b,8 (NRSV)

Wake Up!

The majority of the human race, in the West at least, is sleepwalking.

They work, they consume, they accept what they're told, they party, they watch, they enjoy.....

Meantime the world is becoming darker - more violent, more heartless, more unequal.....

This is because we are controlled by the media which is owned by the rich.

And evil forces dominate our entertainment.

Nothing is going to change until we wake up!

Wake up to media manipulation.
Wake up to evil in our entertainment.
Wake up to political corruption.

We are brainwashed day and night.

We are distracted and controlled.

Wake Up!

Peace Meal.

I dreamed that two families - one Jewish, one Muslim - were having a meal together.

And the love of the fathers was palpable - warm and strong.

It permeated all who were present and filled the room with love.

This is a peace initiative that could be put into practice in our world.

And not only between Jews and Muslims but between Muslims and Christians and Christians and Jews.

It could be extended to Hindus, and Buddhists, and Chinese.....

This is the Peace Meal.

And it is God's dream.

Him.

I dreamed that my childhood teacher Timothy Weston was conducting a class in philosophy.

We were reading the Greek philosophers - Plato, Aristotle etc. - and other teachers and sages.

"Seek God" was recommended.*

Then God becomes Him - The Beloved.

And you realize that He always was.

*  "'Come,' my heart says, 'seek his face!'
Your face, Lord, do I seek."  Psalm 27:8 (NRSV)

Fathers.

The fathers of our world are the captains of industry, the boards of directors, the C.E.O.s, the businessmen.....

It is their job to provide.

To provide employment.
To provide infrastructure.

Fathers should have loving hearts.

They should love their employees like their children.

Give love.

Love God.

And the world will be transformed.

The End?

Satanism is governed by the astrological sign of Scorpio.

Scorpio with its sex/death/power matrix is the underpinning basis of Satanic magic.

Satanism in the music industry began on a large scale in the 1960s when Neptune transited Scorpio.

It continued during the transits of Uranus (1970s) and Pluto (1980s/1990s).

The Satanic influence continued when those generational groups with planets in Scorpio came to prominence in their twenties.

This ended with those born in 1996 who turned 20 in 2016.

The next generational group of youngsters (dubbed the Millennials) have no planets in Scorpio (and there are no transits of Scorpio for at least 40 years in the case of Uranus, 100 years in the case of Neptune, and 200 years in the case of Pluto).

So the influence of the sign of Scorpio has come to an end.

Could this mean the end of Satanism in our popular culture?

At the very least it will begin to wane.

Pluto (governing planet of Scorpio) has been demoted to dwarf planet.
It is at present in the sign of Capricorn which indicates endings.

So is this the end?

I hope so.

Sports.

Satanism in sports feeds hatred and violence and pain.

It whips up excitement then turns it to violence and humiliation.

It addicts you to thrills and strings you along.

Elite sports men and women sell their souls in order to achieve success in their chosen field.

They worship the body and trust in Satanic magic.

The pain which follows defeat is a sadistic joke.

And when they win they write themselves off as celebration.

This is the work hard/play hard philosophy of Satanism.

And it leads to intense suffering.

Pop Star.

When I talk about Satanism in the popular culture I don't just mean some morbid rock band dressed all in black.

I mean your favorite pop star.

Since the 1960s popular musicians have been practicing Satanism in their music.

Many are cleverly disguised.

I had to abandon my favorite rock musicians when I realized what they were doing.

Death, the Beast, madness, sin, darkness, suicide, drugs.....

All these messages were in the music.

So don't just take what you see at face value.

It could be your favorite pop star.

Hidden.

What is hidden beneath the images of rock videos?

Satanism.

Rock stars have sold their souls and do what they think is the devil's work.

That is why their music is dark and disturbing.

They sabotage each successive generation by pushing the negatives of their astrological signs.

They push evil, darkness, and sin.

Hoping that their victims will fall into death and damnation.

Have you noticed that everything is going up in flames?

These are the flames of hell.

And we would do well to avoid them.

Cleansing the Temple.

"Then Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were selling and buying in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold doves.  He said to them, 'It is written: "My house shall be a house of prayer"; but you are making it a den of robbers.'"  Matthew 21:12,13 (NRSV)

It is of this passage that I think when I enter a church which has stalls in its entry selling books and CDs and DVDs etc..

Haven't they read the Bible?

Unfortunately it is those churches who tell you that every word of the Bible is literally true who do this.

St. Paul.

Could St. Paul have been wrong?

St. Paul was not one of the original disciples of Jesus.

St. Paul was a celibate Pharisee from a strict sect.  He never married.
In this way he was unlike the other disciples.

His writings in the New Testament are letters written to various churches and individuals in the ancient world.  As such they address specific issues relevant to those churches and individuals.

They were never intended to be taken as sacred writ let alone inerrant scripture.

So the sex-phobic and homophobic writings of St. Paul are not reliable scripture.
They should not be taken literally.

Jesus never set spirit against body in the way that St. Paul did.
But the Church chose to follow St. Paul and not Jesus in this matter.

Jesus refused to condemn the woman caught in adultery.
And he forgave the sinful woman who anointed him.

So why does the Church continue to take seriously St. Paul's condemnation of homosexuals?

It can only be a knee-jerk reaction of deep-seated prejudice and fear.

The time has come to remove St. Paul from his position of supremacy and return to the inclusive teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.

The Devil's Advice.

What we are doing by listening to rock music, watching Hollywood movies and reality T.V., and following sports is taking the devil's advice.

Messages hidden in our popular culture lure us into sin and transgression.
They tell us to take drugs, get laid, indulge in pleasures, work hard and play hard, and leave our loved ones.....

No wonder everyone's burnt out and divorced.

By accepting what we are given at face value we open ourselves to evil influences that sabotage and control us.

They tell us to spend, buy their products, and follow their websites.....

But be careful what you are copying.

It might just be the devil.

Religion.

What was the religion we grew up with?

It was about rules and regulations backed up with rewards and punishments culminating in heaven or hell when you die.

It was about submitting to authority.

It was about refraining from sex.

It was racist, homophobic, and sexist.

But this is not what religion is truly about.

Religion is about your heart.

Opening your heart to others.

Showing more compassion and love.

So instead of preaching fear.

Preach Love.

War.

They are fighting a war over it now.

The worshipers of Allah are fighting against the worshipers of Mammon (Money).

But an Islamic State is not Koranic, nor is Sharia Law.

These things derive from traditions that developed long after the messenger was dead.

As for worshipers of money they think that it is a sign of God's favor.

So, as usual, neither is right.

They are fighting over idols, not God.

Fascism.

What we have to realize is that the anti-immigration/anti-Muslim political shift is modern Fascism.

It is fashionable to use euphemisms and misnomers to disguise the true nature of modern developments.

Many practices and movements are given misleading titles in order to make them less threatening or even to make them seem desirable.

Some modern political figures will even invoke Adolf Hitler as a contemporary role model.

The similarities between Hitler's Germany and some modern politicians is frightening.

And Goebbels would be proud of the way that modern media barons control public opinion.

Propaganda is the word.

So turn off your T.V. and use your discrimination.

What we are being fed is poison.

Feminism.

In the beginning Feminism was about bringing more feminine qualities like: sympathy, compassion, understanding, and love into positions of influence and leadership.

But since the 1980s Feminism has become a mad grab for power, money, authority, and status.

In the process the use of emotional violence, intimidation, blackmail, provocation, and entrapment have replaced the more positive qualities that engendered Feminism in its earlier years.

So that now the world is a bigger mess than it was before.
