The Church has traditionally imposed guilt.

Guilt for sin.
Usually sexual sin.

So that everyone is constantly looking to appease guilt.

This is very poor motivation.

Jesus says, "'Your sins are forgiven.'"  Matthew 9:5 (NRSV)

He does not invoke guilt.

Even where sexual sins are evident he says, "'Your faith has saved you, go in peace,'"  Luke 7:50 (NRSV)

So we should not feel guilty about sex.

We should feel glad and full of joy.

For sex is a manifestation of Love.

White Privilege.

One of the effects of globalization is migration.

People in Third World countries see the privileges that white people have and decide that they can never achieve that in their home countries.

They migrate to the West.

And people in the First World, fearing that they will lose their privileges, resist this movement.

This is called protecting our borders.

And it is the basis of the latest political swing to the right.

This is inevitable, however.

As the world is transformed by globalization mass movements of population will result unless we address the problems of poverty and oppression

Many of these problems are caused by the West.

White privilege was established at the barrel of a gun.
And it is sustained by military might.

Our precious democracies and civil rights are maintained by domination.

As we move into the Age of Aquarius this domination will be called into question.

And we may see a more equal, more just world.

Dealing with sexual expression as a single gay Christian is like navigating between whirlpools.

On one side is moral panic and fear leading to total abstinence.

On the other side is economic exploitation and cynicism leading to addiction.

We must navigate between these two extremes.

And not only that but we must negotiate the mental waters between moral condemnation and self-destructive negativity.

Sex is not bad or dirty as Satanists would have you think.

We do not need to be punished.

What we need is a positive attitude which is not controlled by evil.

A healthy moderation.

Only then will we be free.

"I came to the conclusion long ago that all religions were true and also that all had some error in them....."  Mahatma Gandhi.

Rejecting one religion because it contains errors and adopting another will only result in experiencing different errors.

Many in our modern world have rejected institutional Christianity because of its errors and embraced Eastern religions like Buddhism.

But Buddhism contains basic errors which are no more palatable than Christian errors.

What Progressive Christianity seeks to do is to revise theological and doctrinal traditions and eliminate obvious errors.

If each of the world's religions engaged in this self-examination in the light of science and scholarship we may find more agreement between them.

Aquarius does not seek to form a new universal religion but to experience a new revelation which is common to all religions.

So there's a Satanic conspiracy in rock music.

Where's your evidence?

Apart from the fact that most heavy metal bands are openly Satanic the key to it is death.

There are death metal bands, death actors, death writers, death T.V. shows, death songs.....

When a fan discovered hidden messages in Beatles music it was all about death.

"And in the Death....." begins Diamond Dogs.
Then, "This ain't rock and roll, this is genocide!"

Death is a religious concept - death to God.
"the wages of sin is death."  Romans 6:23a (NRSV)

So they spread sin and transgression in order to induce death.

Death is the basis of black magic.

And it represents power to them.

"the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil."  Hebrews 2:14c (NRSV)

So they deal with the devil.

Devil magic is backwards and upside-down.

There are many album covers with writing or images backwards or upside-down.

Sometimes there is a mixture of upright and inverted images or forwards and backwards words or letters.

This is done deliberately to confuse you or hide the Satanic nature of the music.

Black, funerals, skulls, graves, flames, spiders, snakes, darkness, evil, and hell.

All these things are in the music and videos.

They deal in negations and negativity.

The fall, murder, sin, suicide, hedonism, darkness, black, violence, night, blindness, deafness, dumbness.....

All feature in their music.

They call themselves Dogs - gods backwards.

And this is just the beginning of the evidence.

Why is the Satanic conspiracy in our rock music and popular culture unbelievable?

For one thing no one believes in Satan.
So they assume there are no Satanists.

Devil worship only ever appears in the media as a fringe phenomenon with few followers.

But most rock bands from the 1960s and 1970s were followers of Aleister Crowley.

Most people don't realize that Aleister Crowley was not just a magician but he was a black magician and Satanist.

His writings include drug use and pacts with the devil.
His catch-cry was: Do what you will.

So, even if you don't believe in Satan, rock bands and celebrities do and have sold their souls for fame and fortune and a rock star reception.

They do the devil's work in our world.

It's Not God's Fault.

One of the main reasons why God gets the blame for everything is because the Church does not reflect His true nature.

God is merciful, forgiving, compassionate, and loving.

But the Church has traditionally been judgemental, negative, demanding, even hateful.

God's Love takes away our fear.

The Church is ruled by fear.

We should look at the hierarchy of the Church as the Pharisees and Sadducees of our day - those who Jesus criticized.

So don't blame God for the defects of the Church.

Whether it be lust for power or a desire to rule the Church has had poor motivation.

Whether it be too rigid orthodoxy or spiritual immaturity the Church has not been ready.

It is time to revise the negative theology which has been used to justify the Machiavellian mass control techniques of the Church.

And return to the Gospel of Love.

Leaving Home.

In The Book of Joy - conversations between the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu - there is a postlude in which the honored guests attended the Dalai Lama's eightieth birthday party at the Tibetan Children's Village.

During the celebrations several children spoke about leaving their families in Tibet and taking the dangerous journey across the snow-covered mountains to India.

The children broke down in tears as they recalled saying goodbye to their parents and families in their beloved homeland.

They said that they could not experience joy again until they experienced the love and care of the teachers and friends at the Village.

This brought home to me the conviction that love is at the heart of human experience.

Without love we cannot feel joy, or hope, or even cope with life.
But when there is love we recover and feel as if we can live again.

The Third Way.

Church tells you to abstain from sex and be clean.

Satanism in rock music tells you to indulge in sex and be dirty.

But there is a third way.

And that is to engage in sex in a moderate manner and maintain a positive attitude.

So between the extremes of abstinence and indulgence there is a middle path of healthy moderation.

Sex is not bad or dirty.

Sex is not a sin.

Sex is a natural part of life.

And we should accept it as such.

Winner Takes All.

Since the 1980s a winner takes all mentality has dominated world culture.

The idea that winning justifies anything has replaced any kind of ethics.

Winning justifies: violence, subterfuge, lies, deception, intimidation, force, extortion, betrayal, crime, murder, and hate.

Our corporate masters have been tempted and corrupted by evil forces in our culture.

And their brutal regime dominates everything.

Pray for them to abandon the evil that they do and return to a philosophy of ethical conduct that is not just a smoke screen.

Look into the novel 1984 and you will find the source of many of their methods.

But Big Brother is not a benevolent dictator.

His methods are evil itself.

Lies, Misinformation, and Fake News.

Our media is being used by its corporate owners to misrepresent the facts in order to manipulate the electorate and the zeitgeist.

Strategic pieces appear in our news media purporting to clarify the social position of the generations in relation to culture and politics.

But these pieces are deliberately slanted against the political left and any suggestion of idealism or spirituality.

Fascist leanings are called populism.
Baby-Boomers are called the establishment.
And generation is set against generation.

This is divide and rule.
Keep the generations competing against each other and reinforce the Status Quo.

In this way the rich corporations control and distract the masses in order to win the day.

No wonder nothing works.

Marketing Tricks.

Your Internet service providers sell your information to marketing companies who place images before your eyes in the hope that you will be hooked.

The purpose of this is to get money out of you.

But you have to be quick to recognize a hook when you see one.

They monitor your entries so that they know what you are interested in, especially what you spend money on.

So be aware that we are being manipulated.

And exploited unfairly.

Everything is Broken.

In 1989 when Generation X had done their worst and destroyed the idealism and spirituality of the 1960s and 1970s Bob Dylan released a song called Everything is Broken.

The refrain expressed perfectly the spirit of the time for the Baby-Boomer Generation whose hopes and dreams had been shattered.

In the time since the Baby-Boomers' rock legends have been resurrected but without the original idealism and spirituality.

Back in black.

The Baby-Boomers now look after their grand children and their ageing parents, go on expensive overseas holidays, watch must see T.V., and follow sports.

Small glimmers of idealism appear on the Internet.

It is up to us to fan this tiny spark into a raging fire.

You Just Do It.

The problem with evil in our world is that when they give you advice you just do it.

There is no understanding of how Satanists in the music industry and the popular culture deceive and sabotage everyone.

You are doing it now!

Listening to the Satanic voices in the music.

But make no mistake .
They will tempt and betray you.
Even to hell.

But God does not judge us.

He forgives us.

And invites us Home.

Even though Satanism in rock music harks back to the 1960s with the 1980s it became a global corporate monopoly.

24 hour a day satellite broadcasting brought Satanism into everyone's home.

And the streets were patrolled by black stretch limousines with satellite dishes on the back.

Evil became an ever present reality.

And with the development of technology young people now listen to music day and night.

What they are feeding into their minds is not healthy.

It is negative and dark, malicious and evil.

They are being cursed.

So turn off  your rock music and your T.V..

And reclaim your mind.

We are led by the faceless men of the multi-national corporations.

Whose brutal agenda renders everyone powerless.

They rule the boardroom.

They own everything.

They control our governments.

They manipulate the media.

Big Brother is here and now.

But there is a glimmer of hope.

Religious leaders like Pope Francis I, Desmond Tutu, and the Dalai Lama are gaining some attention.

Their enlightened insights are being listened to by many.

But how can we escape the iron grip of the corporations?

It will take more than a few wise aphorisms.

We must act now to save our democracy.

Leaders must come forward who are not motivated by personal profit.

Ideals must be seen again in the capitals.

Not just economic robots.

We must demand that our leaders serve the people.

And the corporations must accept their responsibilities as citizens of the world.

All this must begin now.

Or in the not too distant future there will be violent revolutions.

Bless the Lord.

"The Lord works vindication and justice for all who are oppressed, He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel.
"The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love,"  Psalm 103:6-8 (NRSV)

"As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear* him."  Psalm 103:13 (NRSV)

In Psalm 103 David echoes the revelation of Moses then predicts the vision of Jesus.

These passages reflect the benevolent nature of God - a God who is loving and merciful like a father.

This is not the angry, vindictive God that some imagine - a projection of worldly authorities inspired by fear.

But the beautiful and constant Father of all.

* This can be translated as respect or love.

A Church.

A church should not be a moral police station.

A church should be a center of Love.

A church should not tell everyone what they can do and what they can't do.

A church should meet the needs of the community.

A church should not be a center of institutional navel-gazing.

A church should look out into the wider world.

Secure in the Love of God we should give love out into the world.

"'Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it!  How often have I desired to gather your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!'"  Matthew 23:37 (NRSV)

This is God's wish - to gather His children to Him in Love.

And who are His children?

Everyone in the world.

And why does this not happen?

Because those in charge of His religions are not willing - they do not understand Him - and they do not want this egalitarian dream.

They are full of fear.

They are full of pride.

They lust for power.

And they enjoy privilege.

It was no coincidence that it was the religious authorities who killed Jesus.

Those in league with the Roman state.

Neither is it s coincidence that creedal Christianity began at Nicaea -  this is when Christianity became the state religion.

The creeds of Christianity do not contain one word of Jesus' teachings.

Jesus taught to love God and love your neighbor.

Jesus' only commandment was that we love one another.

This is in keeping with God's wish to gather His children to Him in Love.

This is the true Covenant.

A Covenant of Love.
